Happy pub day to @megmitchellmoore! What a delight to have @pattichenry back on the podcast this week to discuss her new historical novel, The Secret Book of Flora Lea and the magic of storytelling. This week, @kazzese is on A Bookish Home to discuss her new novel, The Hidden Life of Aster Kelly. We discussed writing about the golden age of Hollywood and rising Broadway stars, fictionalizing real family history and secrets, the role of @grubwriters in her writing journey, receiving a Fiction Honor from the @masscenterforbook and more. One of the delights of doing this podcast is getting to read advance copies of books. And it is so much fun when I fall in love with a book and then see the author start to get all the recognition they deserve! That is definitely the case with @deepavaradara and her big-hearted, funny, charming debut novel, Late Bloomers which is a May Book Club pick for @Target! Excited to interview these authors today and tomorrow! Get those beach bags ready for some recommendations, itโ€™s going to be a great summer on the podcast. ๐Ÿ˜€ Calling all kidlit fans! Today's episode is a conversation with this year's Newbery Medal and Coretta Scott King Award winner @aminaluqmandawson (link in bio) New Episode: @juliakellywrites is back on the podcast to discuss writing and researching her new historical novel, The Lost English Girl. Can't wait to participate in next week's Newburyport Literary Festival! New Episode!
